My name is Jonathan Hall, and I’ve worked with Roger for approximately 10 years now.

Well, the things that Roger has helped me with in the 10 years is, when I first went to Roger, I went for a very specific reason. I was looking after my own finances and I was aware, I was doing a very poor job of it. I knew I needed somebody. I wasn’t sure how to plan the rest of my life as far as what I did with my money and what I might need going forward. So that’s where I did some investigating and found Roger’s firm, who ticked all the boxes at the time for me.

The latest thing that Roger has helped me with is planning for my future with my finances. Roger takes the approach of looking at my life, what I want from it, what I’ll need in order to achieve that going forward. So really he sat down and took the time with me to ask me questions about what my dreams and ambitions were. I was able to tell him that and then he was able to put that through his system and come up with a plan.

I feel fantastic about the fact that I don’t need to worry about my finances. Before I found Roger, I tried to look after things myself. I made some investments. I was aware that I wasn’t able to do this properly so the fact that I could sit down with Roger (and he’s planning my whole future, till retirement and beyond) to show me and demonstrate what I need to do in order to achieve what I want, so it’s taken a huge weight off my shoulders. I have a family and I want to make sure that I look after them going forward as well. Roger has shown me how I can achieve all my goals in the next number of decades, I hope.

I would never have had the peace of mind that I get with Roger if I had stayed on my own. It’s ok putting your money in investments, but you have no idea how the future is going to look or whether you have enough for what you want to achieve. Also, you’re always looking for the fluctuations in your money and this creates great anxiety. One of the greatest things about being with Roger is that peace of mind and reassurance that there’s a methodical process in place, which has been geared for me individually, a very specific process.

Working with Roger has changed my life. Not just financially, but it also got me to think about what I wanted from my finances and my money going forward. I think we both felt when we talked, that money was just the means to provide the lifestyle that I wanted. Roger helped me to see that. He showed me how possible it was for me to fulfil all my goals and dreams. He also took from me all the anxiety and worry around me having to try and achieve that for myself, by putting in place a wonderful plan for me and that has worked very well.

I wanted a personal service. He works in a relatively small team. I’ve got to know the other team members. I can phone and speak with James and get advice at any stage, they’re just at the end of a phone. I just know that he’s there and he has my financial future at heart. It’s all about me. It’s not about money. It’s about my life and that’s the best thing I find.

He has asked me some very interesting questions to get me to focus on my own life and what I wanted out of it. He was able to turn that into a plan so that I could achieve that. I hope to be travelling the world more again and just enjoying my time with my family.

If I had three words to describe Roger, I would say he was professional, approachable, conscientious.

I would recommend anyone to see Roger, indeed I have. Anyone I have mentioned him to is extremely happy with the service that Roger provides. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anybody. He’s changed my life financially, and more so. With regards to me thinking about my future and what I want out of life, for me that has been worth its weight in gold.
