We’re incredibly proud to announce that our director, Roger Kennedy, has successfully been awarded yet another accolade. He has recently been recognised as a Registered Life Planner (RLP) by the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. Achieving RLP designation is a real honour and reflects Roger’s extensive knowledge, experience and dedication to financial life planning. This achievement follows a number of prestigious accreditations, including Chartered status – a title regarded as the pinnacle of the profession.
The Kinder Institute was established by George Kinder, the man recognised around the world as the father of life planning, and works to promote the idea of transforming your relationship with money to help you achieve what you really want out of life. Roger has long been a proponent of life planning as the best route to financial security and happiness, a professional philosophy which is now recognised through his prestigious RLP status.
Life planning is all about asking the big questions that you might not associate with traditional financial planning but which aim to get to the core of what will make you truly happy in life. Life planning doesn’t see financial prosperity as the end product, but rather as the route through which you can reach your goals and make the ambitions you thought you might never achieve a reality.
Becoming a Registered Life Planner requires real commitment, with a program that includes training workshops, a five-day residential and six months of mentorship through the Kinder Institute. Now that Roger has successfully completed the program to become a recognised RLP, his details can be found on the Kinder Institute’s website.
This is the latest achievement in Roger’s career of nearly thirty years in the financial services industry and is the third recognition of his abilities. As well as gaining Chartered status, Roger was also awarded ISO 22222, the standard for personal financial planners, at the beginning of 2017. Roger’s recognition as a Registered Life Planner is yet another reason for our clients to feel confident that the planning and advice provided by AKFP will always be of the highest quality. We’re sure we’ll have plenty more reasons to celebrate throughout the rest of 2017 and beyond – but for now, well done Roger!
