Getting the New Year off to a great start, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve just had confirmation that following a recent assessment, the AKFP Group has been awarded BS 8577. This is a new British Standard that assesses and awards financial planning firms who can demonstrate that they have the operational framework to deliver a first class service to their clients.
We’ve always set great store by the service we provide to our clients so we felt it was important to have that service and our internal processes benchmarked against the British Standard of best practice by entering into the rigorous process of assessment. Your needs are at the heart of our business and so we are committed to this form of assessment by an independent certification body on an annual basis. We are evidently one of only a handful of financial planning firms in the UK to have achieved this prestigious ranking and the assessors congratulated us on achieving and maintaining such a high standard within our business, saying,
“A fantastic initial assessment! The business has clearly worked hard, is well organised and has good processes in place. Very well done to all the team!”
As you can imagine, we’re feeling pretty pleased!
In addition, both Roger and Michael have been awarded ISO 22222, the standard for personal financial planners, receiving the following comment, “A strong pair of initial assessments, very well done to both Roger and Michael.” This is the only international quality standard for providing personal financial planning and, furthermore, they are the only financial planners to have attained this in the whole of Northern Ireland – quite an accolade!
We feel these awards are fitting recognition of the quality and consistency of our advice and mean our clients can come to us with a high level of confidence in the financial planning they know we will provide. We look forward to continuing in this way in 2017. Now, time to pop that champagne…
